What is the cost?
Gratuities
FYI: Traditionally, in the charter sailing world to the captain and crew are in the range of 15 to 20 of the charter cost.
Often with sailing, we follow the wind and enjoy the ride, rather than focusing on a specific destination. We do consider your requests and make every effort to take you to your desired location. However, charter destinations are based on weather, current, tide and sea state as well as the length of your charter.
All charters include soda, water, ice, and light snacks. Capt Mike suggest you bring your own food, especially on sails of 4 hours or more.
100% of the charter fee is due at the time of your reservation.
Please remember your sailing excursion begins and ends at your scheduled charter time. Charter rates and time are not adjusted for late arrivals, including missed ferries or other transportation issues, so please plan ahead for an on-time arrival.
Please contact Capt Mike for detailed information on boarding information at both Newport/Jamestown and Providence Eastside locations: 401-696-9480.
Be aware that space aboard is limited, therefore please keep personal belongings and bags to a minimum and consider one bag per family (rather than one bag per person). Hard-sided coolers are not only difficult to transport aboard but can also damage boat surfaces so I request that you only bring soft-sided coolers . Guests, of course, may bring their own food and beverages aboard but must prepare and consume these items on deck. Please bring your own paper products.(plates, forks, napkins, etc.) with you.. No pets are allowed onboard.
Any cancellations under 48 hours will forfeit the entire fee. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
